Advantage II Topical Flea Treatment for Dogs

Advantage II for Dogs (Elanco Canada) is a monthly topical for flea and lice control on dogs 7 weeks of age and older. It contains imidacloprid 9.1% and pyriproxyfen 0.46%. Choose the size that matches your dog's weight. Registered under the Pest Control Products Act: read and follow the label directions on the package before use.

How to Use

For dogs only – do not use on cats. Do not give by mouth. With the dog standing, part the hair between the shoulder blades until the skin is visible and squeeze one tube of the correct size onto the skin. Reapply monthly. Do not use on dogs under 7 weeks. Consult your veterinarian before use on sick, aged, pregnant or nursing dogs, or dogs on other medications or pesticide treatments. Harmful if swallowed or absorbed through skin; causes eye irritation. Wear rubber gloves and wash hands after use. Watch for skin irritation, behaviour changes or vomiting; if signs occur, bathe the dog with mild soap and contact your veterinarian. Always follow the full label on the package.
